The IN SITU project, supported by the Interreg Central Europe program, is nearing completion. In the 120-hour training and mentoring program in Maribor, young and older jobseekers acquired various business and other knowledge and skills in two cycles in the 120-hour training and mentoring program in Maribor to realize their social entrepreneurial ideas and enterprises or receive support for further career development.
At the closing web conference on 7 March 2022, project partners from six Central European countries presented to the general public and stakeholders the most important achievements and examples of good practices of social entrepreneurship initiatives in individual regions.
OZARA d.o.o. presented the “Social Innovation Platform”, where from the beginning of the project all key information, results and especially learning materials for further use and inspiring examples from practice during the implementation of both training cycles in “Social Innovation Hubs”. The platform also provides information on the most important support organizations for the young and old (long-term) unemployed, the methodology for implementing Social Innovation Hubs, videos and presentations covering developed social entrepreneurship initiatives at the level of all six regions.
At the conference, the PRIZMA Foundation presented an example of a social initiative that emerged in the second cycle of the IN SITU program. It is a travel blog with a lot of useful information and stories for those who want to go on a trip on their own. The author places special emphasis on responsible travel.
