T1 will focus on tool development with the aim of identifying and improving the ‘social innovation footprint’ in PP regions. Two outputs will achieve this. We will identify the expert support and care organisations working with younger and 50+ aged unemployed and possible other target grous and also documenting the social innovation skills and competences of these organisations as well as details about all reg. Social enterprises/initiatives creating jobs for the unemployed. Regional funding initiatives will be documented. This will be done through regional online Social Impact Databases.
This is the initial step towards creating the strategic triangles of key players that are essential to the project. As a result, a series of Social Impact Infographics will be compiled and disseminated to present the diversity, the synergies and needs in project partners regions and to promote social innovation and its potential for job creation in central Europe.
We will prepare and upload the data from the previous outputs to the ‘Social Impact Platform’ making information transparent
and easily accessible for the project partners but also for others. The aim is to support capacity building among the regions and their organisations and institutions leading the way to the overarching trans. strategic triangle of key players.
T1 (with T4) is the starting point to tackle the transnational challenges and leads to T2 & T3. Target groups will be activated and involved in process-related communication creating a bottom-up participatory process.
Social Impact database that will be visualised in the ´Social Impact Infographic´. This graphic documentation of the relevant players in an interactive info graphic for six central European Member States aims to visualise the diversities and synergies, and to detect the lack of the necessary skills, competences and initiatives regarding the disadvantaged groups.
The regional and joint online ‘Social Impact Database as well as the regional and joint ‘Social Impact Infographics’ provide a clear and logical picture of the regional and transnational social innovation landscape in the project area. Thanks to the constant involvement of stakeholders in project implementation, the aggregated information will be sustainable and easily transferrable to institutions outwith the project via the IN SITU Social Impact Platform .
Contributing to all specific objectives, T2 will focus on transnational trainings and further tool development with the aim of building social innovation support schemes in project partners regions by training project partners staff and strategic triangle representatives who work with the disadvantaged groups. Two outputs will achieve this.
O.T2.1 will reinforce the capacity building by giving project partners staff and strategic triangle representatives the opportunity to personally learn »IN SITU« about social innovation in other project partners regions as well as outside the programme area. As a result, methodology and materials will be jointly developed with a two-step result: materials for Socio-Cultural Education and for Social Entrepreneurial Skills and Competences compiled in transnational ePortfolios to be used at all training workshops.
The trainers will become experts in developing both skills and competences of Socio-Cultural Education & Social Entrepreneurship and will be able to mentor social (community) initiatives as well as social businesses.
All trainings (for trainers and for the disadvantaged groups) will take place at regional Social Innovation Hubs and are all part of the regional support schemes. O.T2.2 will train the trainers who in turn will train the youth and 55+ aged unemployed with other chosen target groups from project partners at the Hubs. As a result of the training the trainers will also become mentors so that can support the creation of social enterprises/initiatives in the context of regional/ local eco-systems.

T3 will focus on improving the skills and social entrepreneurial competences of 240+ trained persons at the regional Social Innovation Hubs and in the transnational network. All activities have the clear goal of creating employment for the long-term unemployed. O.T3.1 will implement validated models for social business & community initiatives and an intensive training & mentoring program for and with the unemployed . As a result 240+ viable social enterprises & social initiatives (10+ per reg. per 2x training & mentoring rounds) will be trained in order to develop the socio-cultural skills & social entrepreneurial mindset of the targeted group, trainers will train&mentor the trainees in 2 rounds: ‘Who wants to carry out social (community) initiatives?’; and ‘Who wants to become a social entrepreneur?’
O.T3.2 will implement at least 6x regional Social Innovation Hubs. This will be will be implemented as pilot action in all the project partners regions as the physical places for the trainings and for piloting the new-type tailored comprehensive Intergenerational development support scheme methodology. As a further pilot action, the transnational Social Innovation Hubs´ Network will be implemented to pave the way for a transnational approach to intergenerational unemployment and social exclusion using all benefits of the “biomimicry” concept. It will demonstrate how the regional Hubs and the transnational network work together and complement each other to accelerate social businesses and support social impact both on national/regional and transnational level. Activities aim to improve the ´social innovation footprint´ in the project partners region, fostering the labour market integration of the long-term unemployed.

T4 will focus on developing the Intergenerational Support Scheme and Blueprint Strategy for a transnational social innovation ecosystem. The clear goal is to (1) bring the targeted unemployed youth and elder (50+) unemployed citizens into the labour market through social innovation and entrepreneurship; (2) foster cooperation among the key players of the reg. strategic triangles; (3) ensure that PP regions learn from each (best practice examples) and that they will become specialised CE “learning regions” regarding the innovative “biomimicry” concept; (4) deliver and capitalize the tested and validated Intergenerational Support Scheme and Blueprint Strategy also to other regions in Europe ensuring added value.
O.T4.1 aims to assess the regional needs in the field of social innovation resulting in six regional needs assessment and one joint assessment tool for supporting the integration into the labour market of the unemployed young and elder (50+) citizens .
O.T4.2 will focus on intergenerational draft eStrategies in the six CE partner regions , and the final Intergenerational Support Scheme and Blueprint Strategy for a transnational social innovation ecosystem. T4 started parallel with T1, and is the basis for T2&3.
